After the inaugural exhibition by Niels ‘Shoe’ Meulman in 2007, Calligraffiti has spread throughout the entire world. With countless of ambassadors pushing the boundaries, Calligraffiti is ever-evolving. Now, 10 years later, we are celebrating an art form that combines the rich history of craftsmanship with a progressive contemporary edge.
To commemorate this 10 year milestone, Unruly Gallery has invited 10 Calligraffiti ambassadors from around the globe to create an exclusive work for a series of Calligraffiti prints. All artworks will be hand printed in the Netherlands, available in a limited edition and personally signed and numbered by the respective artists. Featured in the print series are, amongst others, Niels Shoe Meulman, Pokras Lampas and SUN7.

"The titel of "ununfoliaged" refers to both my writing getting more abstract and the snapshots I've been taking of silouhettes of trees. I also used this topic for my poem "Graffiti are the Weeds of Art" meaning weeds are unwanted nature, graffiti is unwanted art. Furthermore the use of color coincides with my recent paintings; undefinable and ever changing depending on the eye of the beholder."
