Acrylic on canvas, ± 700 x 200 cm. Novum Opus (Latin for New Work) is taken from the famous manuscript The Lindisfarne Gospels. In the summer of 2013 Niels Shoe Meulman was invited to do a series of paintings inspired by the book. Check out the video.
